What is the Golden Rule?
The golden rule is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
If you're not in a place of self-love, confidence and self-assurance, it can be tricky to teach others the way you want to be treated. While you do good deeds for other people such as showing them kindness, treating them with respect and making them feel loved and cared for, if you do not see yourself as someone worthy of receiving the same goodness as you give others, it can be self-defeating.
This is why it is important to master reconnecting with your own truth and getting back to a place of pure self-love. The more you dive deeper into yourself, the more life throws challenges along your way to see how far you have come. Ask yourself, are you being able to tackle the adversity that has been thrown your way?
Before you can teach others how to treat yourself, you first have to teach yourself how to treat YOU. You have to go to a place of understanding who you really are. Before others can see your worth, you have to see that for yourself. What it is you put out into the world, who it is that you are, what it is that you think about yourself and other people, all of that comes back to you. That is the golden rule. What you put out into the world comes back to you. Why not start putting out more love, wealth, success, health and happiness? And you know, it is all coming back to you.
Treat yourself more kindly.
Love yourself more fully.
Love and Be Loved,
