Now that your business is established, it’s time to start attracting a steady stream of new clients.
In this episode, we delve into the 3-phase customer journey all successful businesses use to gain new clients and, more importantly, get repeat customers who are excited to refer their products and services to all of their friends.
Phase 1: Top of the Funnel (TOFU)
This is the discovery stage. It’s the stage where customers are still utterly oblivious about your brand. The goal for this phase is to help people learn more about your health & wellness business through the content creation you provide.
Eventually, your content creation will slowly guide your customers to the conclusion that while they can solve their problem themselves, your product is a better solution.
Phase 2: Middle of the Funnel (MOFU)
The middle of the funnel is the nurturing stage. Once a potential client has listened, watched or interacted with your brand, it’s time to foster this new relationship by offering them continued guidance and support.
Keep in mind that you aren’t asking them to purchase your service or product yet but rather, you are providing them with valuable insight and information.
This further education will encourage them to work with you or buy your offerings later on. The middle of the funnel is all about building up trust and reciprocity through continued education.
Phase 3: Bottom of the Funnel (BOFU)
This is the purchase phase. At the bottom of the funnel, you will have already built a sufficient level of trust with your leads. This means that they are finally ready for you to present your main offer or product (ie. the solution to their problem).
This is where you gradually pivot from offering free value to giving your sales pitch.
The goal here is to have a compelling way that inspires your prospective clients enough to take action, pull out their wallets, and purchase your product or service.
