PLAN 2023 WITH ME | Changing my business plan
Has your business come to a screeching halt? Are you tired of feeling burnt out and unfilled? If so, then maybe it’s time for a tune-up.
In 2023, I'm shaking things up and shifting my business plan.
I want to create a business plan that brings value to my clients in a way that's meaningful to them and sustainable for me as a SAHM homeschooling entrepreneurial mom.
I first started my business pre-babies. And yes, a business plan is not a stone tablet that you must lawfully follow, but rather a fluid document that’s meant to be used like a car's GPS.
Somewhere along the way, I lost sight of my bigger business goal. Freedom.
Like many entrepreneurs, the allure of going into business for yourself is that you can free up your time and set your own wages.
But when your business begins to feel like a set of shackles, it's time to make a change.
If you’ve been grinding your way through business, it might be time to consider making a shift.
Instead of constantly chasing after monetary gain, what if we focused on skill stacking and building our expertise in our specific field of interest?
Not only will this bring value to your customers, but it can also be incredibly fulfilling and rewarding for you as a business owner.
So, what does this look like in practice?
First, take some time to research and identify the skills that are in demand in your industry or related fields. Maybe there's a new technology or approach that you could master, or maybe you want to delve deeper into a subject that you're already passionate about.
As a Content Creator, I recognize that I need to skill up in storytelling, videography, and editing. I’m also deeply interested in how the mind works and in teaching others how we can practically apply the psychology of success to our businesses as leaders.
